With this fifteenth Station, the Way of the Cross is no more a "Via Dolorosa." The road is no more one of despair, but an opening towards Resurrection, towards the perspective of the return in Glory. Optimism and joy prevail here over death and despair, in the image of Lourdes, city of all hopes.
